Jinsey Jane Reeves is my paternal great-great grandmother.  I loved that name and wanted to name my then, unborn daughter, Jinsey Marie after her and a grandmother from my husband's side of the family.  But my husband objected. I was so disappointed.  

I have wanted to honor my ancestor's for whom I have researched over 40 years in a more formalized manner rather than allowing the many quickly scribbled notes, vital information, and pictures to remain snugly hidden or lost in notebooks, scrap paper, binders, book margins and file folders.

By creating this blog I will bring to life the stories of my beloved ancestors and at the same time resurrect the name of my great-great grandmother, Jinsey Jane Reeves as I use her name to author these posts.
